What to do when I see this window (the Registration request window)?

This is the licence registration window, please call our support line on 01344 878 110 and they will be happy to provide you with a registration key so you may access KBBSmart.

I have a catalogue from a supplier and it is not in KBBSmart, what do I do?

Answer

As part of your maintenance package we will be happy to process the pricelist for you so you are able to use it within KBBSmart. Please email your pricelist in Microsoft Excel format or as a .csv file to info@smart-systems.co.uk.

How do I get my catalogue updated in KBBSmart?

Answer

We take every possible step to ensure our pricelists are as up-to-date and accurate as possible, however if you notice one that is not please email us and let us know, attaching your latest pricelist in Microsoft Excel format or as a .csv file to info@smart-systems.co.uk.

What do I do if I have a query about an item in a pricelist?

Answer

We take every possible step to ensure our pricelists are as up-to-date and accurate as possible. We shall be happy to investigate any pricelist queries that you may have.

First of all please ensure you have correctly set your Discounts and Margins in the Discounts view and have an example item code ready so that we may go through it with you.

How do I create a new user?

Answer

Along the top menu in KBBSmart, go to File and Users and click on the New button. Use the Wizard to create a new user. You will then be able to log into KBBSmart as the new user.

Does KBBSmart work over an office network?

Answer

Yes, KBBSmart can work both on an individual computer or over a shared network. So everyone in the office can work from a centralised database.

Can I set KBBSmart up to work between several showrooms?

Answer

Many of our customers have more than one showroom but they wish to use one central KBBSmart database, to keep all their projects and pricelists in one place.

We recommend using a Remote Desktop Connection to connect showrooms. This will minimise the quantity of data that has to travel over the Internet, thus making it a faster option than a direct connection over the Internet.

Does KBBSmart work with Window 7 /8?

Answer

KBBSmart is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8.

Does KBBSmart work on a Mac?

Answer

KBBSmart will run on a Mac running a Windows emulator, such as Parallels®.

I have a design in my CAD (Computer Aided Design) package, can I get KBBSmart to quote it?

Answer

Yes, you can import your design as an itemised list from many popular CAD packages, saving you even more time in getting an accurate quote to the customer.

Do you offer training?

Answer

Yes, a full days training for the KBBSmart software is available at our offices for groups of up to 8. Training sessions usually run from 10am until 4pm and include lunch.
